Jana is Robin's project manager and full-stack engineer. She developed the bird detection algorithm, integrating voice commands for hands-free navigation, and collaborated with clients to facilitate team operations.
Meriam is the lead researcher and full-stack engineer. She created a machine learning algorithm that improves bird prediction accuracy and used it to pinpoint the best bird sighting locations.
Jodi is the lead UI/UX designer and full-stack engineer. She designed the entire user interface using an original design system and ensured the app's compatibility with screen readers.
Leah is Robin's scrum master and full-stack engineer. She developed the Robin chatbot—a smart, interactive AI assistant that provides bird information—and maintained the project’s backlog.
Breanna is Robin's lead brand designer who created Robin’s logo. As an Illustration major at the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, she helped establish a distinctive brand identity and create the face of the app.
Dr. Song is Robin’s primary client and faculty supervisor. He provided consistent support, guidance, and mentorship throughout the project—offering technical insight, reviewing our progress, and pushing us to refine our work. His belief in our team’s potential helped drive Robin forward and opened doors to research publications and real-world deployments. Robin would not have been possible without his collaboration and vision.

As Director of the Environmental Interpretive Center, Dr. Napieralski was instrumental in connecting our team with the EIC and supporting our vision from the outset.
